BetMGM extended its MGM Live offering to Alberta on 20 August, streaming blackjack, roulette and baccarat from MGM Resorts International venues in Las Vegas. The company said the games are hosted at MGM Grand and Bellagio through its collaboration with Playtech.
The extension gives BetMGM a live casino offering streamed from Nevada to players in Alberta.

New Brunswick Finance Minister René Legacy introduced Bill 8 on 27 October to let the province regulate online live dealer casino games through Atlantic Lottery Corporation (ALC), the government said. The bill would not add operators beyond ALC; lawmakers advanced it to the Standing Committee on Economic Policy on 3 November for further discussion.
Peter & Sons has entered Alberta’s regulated iGaming market through a partnership with BetVictor, which is part of BVGroup. The companies already work together in the UK, and representatives from both companies said the launch extends their relationship.
Playson has launched its games with Betty Casino in Alberta, extending the companies’ existing partnership in Ontario, the supplier said. The launch is Playson’s first partnership in Alberta and gives the operator’s customers access to selected titles.
Pragmatic Play said it has entered Alberta’s regulated online gambling market after its slot and live casino portfolios received certification. The supplier said its offering includes blackjack, baccarat, roulette and game shows, as well as slot titles including Fury of Anubis and Big Bass Blast.
Greentube has launched in Alberta after receiving approval from the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC), according to the company announcement. The supplier’s games are available through partnerships with locally licensed operators, with titles including Piggy Prizes Wand of Riches 2, Rumble Riches and Firecracker Money Toad.
