Neuquén proposes betting tax increase and revised operating fees

Regulation

Neuquén’s government is reportedly considering tax and fee changes for betting businesses, although the proposal has not been officially confirmed. The reported plan would raise gross income tax from 2% to 3%, increase land-based gaming hall fees from 15% to 17%, and leave the online fee unchanged.

If adopted, the proposed changes would raise the tax and fee burden on land-based betting businesses in Neuquén.
