Mozambique approves separate legal framework for online games of chance
Mozambique's Council of Ministers approved a dedicated framework for online games of chance in mid-July, according to reports. The regulation establishes a separate concession regime from land-based casinos; the government has not yet published details including concession costs, tax rates and application procedures.
Operators will need further rules on concessions, taxes and applications before the separate online-games regime is fully specified.
