Missouri state senator Nick Schroer has proposed a constitutional amendment removing NFL teams from the state’s sports-betting framework. If voters approve it, the change would affect the Kansas City Chiefs, who plan to move to Kansas after the 2030 season.
The proposal could prevent the Chiefs from sharing revenue with licensed Missouri sportsbooks.

Florida state senator Clay Yarborough has filed a bill proposing changes to gaming rules and penalties for illegal gambling. The measure would remove diversity-related requirements for appointments and certain gaming businesses, while raising penalties for people who operate illegal gambling businesses, employees and landlords who knowingly lease them space.
