Michigan regulator issues 45 notices to unauthorised gambling sites

Enforcement & compliance

Michigan’s Gaming Control Board issued 45 cease-and-desist notices to offshore platforms operating without state authorisation, according to the report. The regulator said operators ignoring the notices could face further civil and criminal action. State law requires online gambling and sports betting providers serving Michigan users to obtain MGCB authorisation.

Unauthorised operators serving Michigan users face potential civil and criminal measures if they disregard the notices.
