MGA warns four gambling websites over false Malta licensing claims

Enforcement & compliance

The Malta Gaming Authority said on 29 January 2026 that four websites falsely used its name and licence references and were not authorised to offer gaming services under Maltese law. It said it had no connection to the sites and warned consumers that the claims could give a misleading impression of regulatory protection.

The warning helps consumers identify unauthorised sites falsely claiming Malta licensing and regulatory protection.
