MGA identifies 11 sites falsely claiming Maltese gambling licences

Enforcement & compliance

Malta’s Gaming Authority said 11 gambling sites identified in August 2026 had no connection with the authority. The MGA said references on those sites to it or to purported licences were false and misleading, and advised consumers to check whether operators are authorised.

Operators and consumers can use the warning to identify sites falsely presenting themselves as licensed by the MGA.
