In brief

  • The MGA said it has no connection with six online gambling sites identified in October 2026.
  • The authority said claims on the sites that it issued gambling licences are false and misleading.
  • The MGA advised consumers to check that an operator is authorised before using its services.

The Malta Gaming Authority said it has no connection with six online gambling websites identified during October 2026. The MGA said any reference on those sites to the authority or to gambling licences said to have been issued by it is false and misleading.

The authority listed the sites as reelfurycasino.org, uwin33myr5.com, winvora.io, brittsino.co.uk, upgaming.com and jedar88-heng.lol. The MGA said the sites were identified during October 2026.

The MGA advised consumers not to use services from an operator before checking that it is authorised by the authority to provide them. It said the regulatory framework for gambling requires licensed operators to meet strict legal requirements aimed at consumer protection.

According to the MGA, activity by unlicensed parties is not subject to any regulation and does not offer the guarantees required under the current framework, and transacting with such parties carries risks for consumers.
