MGA tells licensees to monitor and report suspicious World Cup betting
Malta's MGA told its licensees to increase monitoring and report suspicious betting during the FIFA World Cup, scheduled for 11 June to 19 July 2026. The regulator said questionable transactions must be reported immediately through its Suspicious Betting Reporting Mechanism under Regulation 43, and warned that non-compliance could prompt regulatory action.
