A Nevada judge upheld restrictions preventing Kalshi from offering its products to state customers without a licence, according to reports. The ruling extended the suspension through 17 April and requires the company to implement geolocation measures blocking Nevada users by 4 May.
Massachusetts requires licensed sportsbooks to notify customers within 48 hours when they restrict an account and provide an individual reason, under a rule effective 1 June. The Massachusetts Gaming Commission approved the regulation in December 2025. Operator data presented during the rulemaking process showed restrictions affected 0.64% of accounts.
A Michigan court issued a temporary restraining order against Kalshi, requiring its sports event contracts to be geofenced in the state for 14 days, according to a report. Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel secured the order.
A San Francisco Superior Court judge temporarily halted two California rules governing blackjack and dealer rotations, according to the reported ruling. The injunction pauses enforcement for 45 days. The judge indicated that the Bureau of Gambling Control may have exceeded its legal authority; the rules had been enforced from 1 April, with card rooms given until 31 May to comply.
Nevada’s First Judicial District Court granted the state a preliminary injunction against Kalshi and extended a temporary restraining order barring the platform from listing sports, election and entertainment event contracts for Nevada users. The extension runs through 17 April, with a hearing scheduled for 16 April before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals; separately, the Third Circuit ruled for Kalshi in its New Jersey case.
