Madeira approves international tender for Funchal casino concession

Madeira's Regional Government has approved an international restricted tender for the exclusive casino concession in the Funchal gaming zone. The current concession expires on 31 December 2026; bidders must first qualify on financial and technical grounds, and the Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Environment and Culture will manage the process.

The tender gives operators a route to compete for the Funchal casino concession before the existing term expires.
