Lithuania’s GSA fines Tete-a-tete €341,049 for AML breaches
Lithuania’s Gambling Supervision Authority imposed a €341,049 fine on Tete-a-tete on 18 December after an inspection found breaches of anti-money laundering rules. The regulator said the operator failed to monitor a customer relationship continuously and lacked sufficient grounds to terminate the remote gambling agreement; Tete-a-tete may appeal.
The fine underscores AML risks from inadequate customer monitoring, while the operator may appeal.
