In brief

  • LegitBet reports for the ANJL recorded 1,065 new suspected sites aimed at Brazil from 29 October to 1 November.
  • 540 of the sites, or 51%, were confirmed as having betting and online gaming features.
  • The reports attribute no illegality or authorship to any address.

LegitBet monitoring reports prepared for the ANJL recorded 1,065 new suspected sites aimed at Brazilian users between 29 October and 1 November, of which 540 were confirmed.

The 540 confirmed sites make up 51% of the total, and checks found on their pages the typical features of betting and online gaming platforms. The reports put the average at 11 new suspected addresses per hour, nearly six of them confirmed. A further 172 sites with the same profile, aimed at other countries, were logged separately. Over the ten days from 23 October to 1 November, the reports show 4,237 sites detected and 2,103 confirmed. Since monitoring began, the database totals 61,774 suspected sites detected and 34,785 confirmed.

On 31 October, the monitoring recorded 60 confirmed domains from the 37bet and r8bet families in a little over 20 minutes. Almost all of them carried the same offer: deposit bonuses, PIX payments, free rounds and withdrawals. More than 80% of the confirmed sites have digits in their names.

The monitoring also tracks suspected links shared on Telegram channels and social networks. On 31 October it counted 853 links in a single day, the highest figure in the series. In the week of 26 October to 1 November the average was 586 links per day, 28% above the first week of October.

According to the source, under the deadlines in MP 1.394/2026, published on 25 September, the authorisations of licensed operators lapsed on 25 October. The Supreme Federal Court (STF) was due to hold a public hearing on 3 November in ADI 8027, a case brought by the ANJL against the provisional measure. In Congress, the measure locks the agenda from 9 November, and the joint committee has not yet been set up.

Some suspected domains imitate the names of known brands in the regulated market, but the report attributes no address to anyone and indicates no link with the companies whose names are imitated. The reports do not attribute illegality, authorship or responsibility to any address. They count only sites aimed at the Brazilian public.
