LegitBet monitoring records sevenfold rise in suspected betting links in Brazil

Regulation

A LegitBet report shared by the ANJL recorded an average of 549 suspected links per day from 1 to 7 October, up from 77 between 8 and 23 September, before Brazil’s provisional measure took effect. The system identified 948 links on 7 October and 733 on 8 October; it cautioned that its classification does not establish that a site is illegal.

The rise in suspected links warrants attention, but classifications alone do not establish that sites are illegal.
