Kyrgyzstan ministry reviews casino operation of former state company website

Enforcement & compliance

Kyrgyzstan's Ministry of Economy said it was reviewing the use of a former state trading company's domain by Olymp Casino, which offers betting and slot games there. The casino claims a licence from Anjouan; the report also says a liquidation order was issued on 10 February and that officials disputed whether existing law bars online gambling by citizens.

The review highlights uncertainty over online gambling enforcement and use of a former state company’s domain.
