KSA sets advertising checklist and 95% age-targeting threshold for Dutch operators

Regulation

The Kansspelautoriteit has issued a checklist for gambling operators’ marketing campaigns in the Netherlands, linking the guidance to the 2023 ban on untargeted mass-market advertising. The report says licence holders must target people older than 24 and demonstrate 95% compliance, with campaigns to stop if targeting measures are inadequate.

Operators must review targeting, opt-outs and evidence before authorising campaigns under the reported checklist.
