KSA issues guidance on Dutch operators' player-protection duties

Regulation

The Netherlands Gambling Authority (KSA) issued guidance explaining operators' existing duties on player interventions and referrals to the Cruks self-exclusion register, according to the report. The guidance sets out intervention methods and the information and timing for reporting players who decline advice to self-exclude. The KSA said it was clarifying current obligations, not introducing new laws.

Operators receive further direction on interventions and reporting duties involving players at risk of gambling harm.
