KSA and Belgium’s Gaming Commission restate gambling advertising rules before World Cup
The Netherlands’ KSA and Belgium’s Gaming Commission reminded operators of advertising and betting restrictions ahead of the World Cup. The KSA said it had written to licensed operators and would act immediately on violations, including unauthorised betting options and advertising. Belgium’s commission reiterated bans on bonuses and gambling advertising, subject to exceptions in a 2023 royal decree.
Operators in both markets face enforcement scrutiny over tournament-related advertising and promotions.
