Italian senator questions social costs of restoring sports betting adverts

Regulation

Senator Luca Pirondini raised the possible return of sports betting advertising during Senate hearings on Italian football reform. He questioned whether an estimated €100m for football clubs justified the social costs, and cited €250m spent on agents and €22m for Serie C clubs.
