Italian police fine gaming recharge outlet €5,000 in Crotone inspection

Enforcement & compliance

Italian police said they fined a food-and-drink business with a gaming recharge point €5,000 after finding it operated without the required SCIA. Police also reported gaming and betting signs, a missing fiscal meter and separate irregularities at another premises with a gaming room; the second business’s owner was reported to judicial authorities.

The inspection resulted in a €5,000 penalty and referrals that may affect the businesses’ ability to continue gaming-related activity.
