Angola’s Gaming Supervision Institute (ISJ) reported parafiscal revenue above Kz2.8bn for February 2026. The figure was 24% higher than in January, while tax revenue from gaming rose 25.3%, according to reported data.
The figures indicate growth in gaming-related tax receipts for Angola’s public finances.

Officials discussed legal obligations and distributed materials covering responsible gambling and licensed services. The regulator plans similar activities elsewhere in Angola alongside inspections.
Reportedly, Angola's ISJ hosted a delegation from Malawi's MAGLA on 13 August to discuss gaming and lottery regulation. The authorities explored a memorandum of understanding during talks led by their directors-general, Nerethz Tati and Muchanankhwaye Mpuluka.
