Indonesian police arrest 321 foreign nationals in online gambling raid
Indonesian police arrested 321 foreign nationals during a 7 May raid on an online gambling operation in Jakarta, spokesperson Wira Satya Triputra said. Police said 275 of those detained were being investigated over alleged gambling and money-laundering offences, while investigations into the others continued. The operation reportedly targeted customers outside Indonesia.
The arrests show Indonesian authorities pursuing an online gambling operation allegedly serving customers abroad.
