Enforcement & compliance

Bali police charged 35 Indian nationals with illegal betting and organised-crime-related offences, Senior Commissioner Azhari Kurniawan said. Prosecutors will decide whether to indict them, while police continue investigating possible links to a wider network and cross-border money laundering. Officers said they seized computer equipment, servers, phones and other items during raids on two villas on 3 March.

The charges and ongoing investigation may affect operators linked to the alleged gambling and money-laundering network.
