Indonesia warns Cloudflare over alleged links to illegal betting sites
Indonesia’s Ministry of Communication and Digital warned Cloudflare to register with the ministry, according to its director-general, Alexander Sabar. He said a ministry study of 10,000 online gambling sites found more than 76% used Cloudflare services, and gave the platform 14 working days to comply or risk administrative sanctions that could include a ban.
Cloudflare’s compliance with the registration warning could affect its service availability in Indonesia.
