GRAI signs gambling-regulation cooperation agreement with Alderney commission

Regulation

Ireland’s Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland signed a memorandum of understanding with the Alderney Gambling Control Commission, reportedly on 30 April. The agreement sets a framework for cooperation across gambling regulation, and GRAI chief executive Anne Marie Caulfield said Alderney could provide guidance as Ireland begins issuing licences this summer. The report says GRAI signed a similar agreement with the UK Gambling Commission last April.

The agreement establishes a regulatory cooperation framework as Ireland prepares to begin issuing gambling licences.
