Google updates gambling advertising certification requirements from 26 August

Regulation

Google's updated certification and standards requirements for gambling advertising took effect on 26 August, according to the report. Advertisers seeking certification must use revised forms and provide evidence of a valid local licence for each targeted region. Destination sites must also display specified licensing and user information, while applicants targeting multiple countries must submit a separate form for each.

Operators and promotional partners must meet Google's updated certification and destination-site requirements to advertise gambling content.
