Google allows ads for federally regulated US prediction markets from 21 January
Google said it will allow advertising for qualifying prediction markets in the US from 21 January 2026. Advertisers must complete Google's certification and be federally regulated, with eligibility limited to exchange-listed event contracts offered by CFTC-regulated entities or brokerages registered with the NFA; binary options advertising remains prohibited.
The policy makes Google's advertising access conditional on federal regulatory status for prediction-market operators.
