Licences & markets

Gibraltar’s government authorised Predict Street Ltd as a betting intermediary under the Gambling Act 2005, according to the report. The company planned to launch its blockchain-based platform on 9 April, initially offering contracts linked to the 2026 football World Cup, and had agreed a multi-year partnership with FIFA. Gibraltar’s Gambling Division will supervise the operator.

The authorisation places a prediction-markets operator under Gibraltar gambling oversight ahead of its planned launch.
