Genlot went live as technology partner to South Africa’s National Lottery and Sports Pools, operated by Sizekhaya Holdings, on 1 June 2026. The platform supports retail and digital operations, and Genlot said it will support the return of live televised draws under the new operator.

Allwyn said the UK National Lottery's first Powerball draw is scheduled for 23 July, subject to final regulatory approval. Tickets are planned to go on sale on 21 July at £4 per line, with jackpots starting at £12 million; the game will also include a UK-only £8 prize tier for matching two main numbers.
Scientific Games said its US instant scratch game production facility in metro Atlanta has achieved Level 2 certification under the World Lottery Association Security Control Standard 2024. The company said the site, which serves nearly every US state lottery, is now fully compliant with the highest supplier level under the standard. Its UK scratch game facility reached the same level in 2026.
On 19 October, Scientific Games reported that the instant scratch game production site it runs in metro Atlanta, Georgia, has been awarded Level 2 certification under the World Lottery Association Security Control Standard 2024. The facility, which the company calls the biggest lottery scratch game production plant anywhere, remains WLA-certified and now meets the WLA-SCS:2024 Level 2 requirements in full, the top certification tier available to lottery suppliers under that standard.
The DC Office of Lottery and Gaming said its total regulated gaming transfer to the District's General Fund rose to more than $51.8m in fiscal year 2025, the highest level since 2017. The agency said it also achieved Level 2 Responsible Gaming Certification from the World Lottery Association.
European Lotteries said its members began work in Milan on a new certification framework linked to updated responsible-gambling standards. About 80 representatives from 46 member lotteries took part in the discussion during the first day of the EL/WLA Sustainability & Responsible Gaming Seminar 2026, which runs from 16 to 18 September.
The Chubut Lottery said it had obtained Level 2 certification under the World Lottery Association’s Responsible Gaming Framework. The certification is valid until 2029 and followed an evaluation conducted from July to September 2025, according to the lottery.
