Licences & markets

Gabon’s Gabonaise des Jeux (GDJ) closed the application window for private operators on 2 March 2026, according to the report. The GDJ said it will assess applications under a new licensing framework and stated that existing authorisations, licences and declarations become invalid from 7 April 2026, after a three-month period.

Operators with existing permissions must adapt to the new licensing system or cease activities, according to the report.
