The Arizona Department of Gaming will accept applications for limited event wagering licences from 13 to 27 August. It can issue up to 10 licences for specified locations, with an operator required to partner with a permitted racetrack or additional wagering facility, the regulator said.
Eligible operators and facilities have a two-week window to apply for one of up to 10 retail wagering licences.

Betr will operate under a Tasmanian Liquor and Gaming Commission licence from 7 July 2026, following an assessment that awarded it one of three available licences. The company said bets placed before that date will be settled under its Northern Territory licence, with wagering and account activity moving to Tasmania from 7 July.
