UK Gambling Commission Executive Director Tim Miller discussed the regulator’s approach to the British gambling market at iGB L!VE 2026. He said decisions should rely on evidence and data, with the regulator assessing the effects of its measures while maintaining dialogue with operators.
The UK Gambling Commission is seeking proposals from gambling operators and suppliers on reducing regulatory and administrative burdens without weakening consumer protections or the Gambling Act’s licensing objectives. Submissions are due by 25 September 2026, and the regulator said this is not a formal consultation. It will exclude matters outside its remit and issues still under review.
