Florence police find minors in betting shop during inspections

Enforcement & compliance

Italian police inspected four betting shops in Florence during a city-wide operation on Friday. Officers reported that minors under 18 were present in areas dedicated to betting at one venue, in breach of the cited 2011 decree; the young people were handed back to their parents.

The inspection identifies an age-access violation that may prompt compliance scrutiny at betting venues.
