Regulation

The Italian Federation of Tobacconists (FIT) said sales of the 2026 Lotteria Italia began on 1 September, with 12.6 million paper and digital tickets produced. Each ticket costs €5, and retailers receive a 10% commission. FIT also said tobacconists are generally required to stock tickets, subject to an exemption for certain second-category outlets.
