Aristocrat Interactive launches NeoGames eInstants with Kentucky Lottery

Deals & M&A · SectorWire deskSource published 2 min read

In brief
  • Aristocrat Interactive has launched NeoGames Studio eInstant games with the Kentucky Lottery; The Lamp is live first.
  • The supplier worked with Brightstar, the lottery's iLottery systems provider, on the integration.
  • The Kentucky Lottery says it has generated more than $8bn in total earnings for the state since 1989.

The Kentucky Lottery now offers eInstant titles from NeoGames Studio, the in-house development arm of Aristocrat Interactive. Players can access the games through the lottery's digital platform, with The Lamp serving as the first release in the rollout.

Aristocrat Interactive called The Lamp a title with a proven track record among players across the US. According to the company, its eInstant games are built to boost player engagement while also supporting responsible gameplay. NeoGames Studio has produced iLottery content for more than two decades.

Aristocrat Interactive partnered with Brightstar, which supplies the Kentucky Lottery's iLottery systems, for the state launch. The collaboration covered integration of the games and kept both parties aligned on digital expansion.

Chris Shaban, iLottery Managing Director at Aristocrat Interactive, said the company's attention is directed toward digital growth for its lottery customers. He described the approach in simple terms: "Our focus is simple: deliver games players love and drive sustainable growth for lotteries." Shaban added that Kentucky matters as a market, and that delivering NeoGames Studio content to its players is a significant move in the company's digital expansion. He also said the company is glad to know its high-performing content will back the Kentucky Lottery's education-funding mission.

Maggie Garrison, President and CEO of the Kentucky Lottery, said the partnership lets the Lottery add new entertainment options while it keeps pursuing its education mission. She said the expansion is a chance to bring more of the games and experiences players enjoy to the Lottery's digital platform. Garrison said that by adding NeoGames Studio's established content, the Lottery is improving the player experience, widening its online offerings and continuing to raise essential funding for education across the Commonwealth.

The Kentucky Lottery began operating in 1989 and has since produced over $8 billion in total earnings for the state. That money has paid for scholarships and grants benefiting more than 1.1 million Kentucky college students and their families. The Lottery expects the new eInstant games from Aristocrat Interactive to help it grow and sustain that funding stream.
