A Datafolha survey conducted on 20 and 21 May 2026 found that 7% of Brazilian voters aged 18 or older currently bet online or play online casino games. The share was unchanged from November 2024; 35% of current or former bettors said they had previously compromised their finances to bet, down from 44%, according to the survey.

The findings give Brazilian operators and regulators survey evidence on participation and reported financial strain among bettors.
