Genius Sports launched a prediction markets affiliate site, Prediction.com, on Thursday, the company said. The site aggregates pricing and market information from multiple prediction market operations and combines it with live sports feeds, according to the company. It was developed by Legend, Genius Sports' consumer media and technology unit, which the company acquired last year for $1.2bn.
Genius Sports chief executive Mark Locke told investors that the company provides data, settlement and integrity services to prediction-market platforms, and data and pricing to market makers. Locke said Genius Sports already has agreements with Kalshi and Polymarket and argued that demand for sports wagering could persist even if individual platforms struggle. The company also serves traditional sportsbooks through its data and media businesses.
