Crypto.com launches OG prediction-market platform pending CFTC certification

Crypto.com announced the launch of OG, a prediction-market platform offering contracts across sports, finance, politics, entertainment and cultural trends. The company said its planned margin trading on prediction contracts is subject to Commodity Futures Trading Commission certification. Crypto.com also named its chief legal officer, Nick Lundgren, as OG’s CEO.

CFTC certification is a condition for OG’s planned margin trading in prediction contracts.

High Roller Technologies has launched its ROLR prediction markets platform across the United States, after an invitation-only beta that began in mid-September. Eligible US customers can access event-based contracts offered by Crypto.com | Derivatives North America. CEO Seth Young said the launch is supported by marketing and distribution relationships with Lines.com, Forever Network and Leverage Game Media.
