SEC delays prediction-market ETF launches pending operational details
The US Securities and Exchange Commission has reportedly delayed the planned launches of more than two dozen prediction-market ETFs while seeking further information on their operations and risk disclosures. Some funds were due to launch in May, including six Roundhill election ETFs; the source says the delay does not rule out later launches.
The delay affects issuers’ planned launches and the timing of access to event-contract funds through ETFs.
