Coljuegos opens claims channel for Bingocasinos.co balances after concession expiry

Coljuegos has opened a channel for users of Bingocasinos.co with pending balances or unclaimed prizes to request an individual review of their cases, after the regulator declared the concession contract of BITIA S.A.S., the platform's operator, expired. Users must send a request by email to the entity, attaching a copy of their identity document and a bank certificate issued no more than 30 days before.

The measure follows Coljuegos' decision to declare the contract with BITIA S.A.S. expired for serious breaches of its financial obligations. The decision was adopted in Resolution 20260007594 of 24 April 2026 and became final on 7 July, after the entity resolved the appeal filed by the operator. Coljuegos ordered the termination of the contract and the immediate suspension of the company's gambling activities, and BITIA S.A.S. is barred from contracting with the Colombian state for five years.

Coljuegos said that with the documents it will be able to review each case in line with applicable procedures. The entity did not specify in its statement a deadline for resolving the requests and did not confirm an automatic refund mechanism.

The regulator also warned about possible fraud attempts related to the procedure. According to the entity, no official will ask for money, passwords, verification codes or banking information to process requests, and it recommended that users use only official channels and not share personal or financial information with third parties who promise to speed up the process or guarantee a refund.

In its statement, Coljuegos said it continues to strengthen its inspection, surveillance and control mechanisms over authorised operators, with the aim of promoting compliance with their obligations and protecting the resources allocated to the health of Colombians.
