In brief

  • Coda says it is working with TikTok Gaming to link creator content to Codashop purchases.
  • Users in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines are covered.
  • Coda says linked videos have drawn 1 billion views since mid-June 2026.

Coda has begun working with TikTok Gaming to link content discovery with purchasing for consumers in Southeast Asia. Under the arrangement, TikTok users in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines can click straight through to Codashop to buy game top-ups, gift cards and other digital goods. Creators can use livestreams and short-form videos to feature listed content, which gives publishers a new way to reach consumers.

Coda said creator videos linking to Codashop have drawn 1 billion views since the initiative launched in mid-June 2026. The company said click-through has averaged above 5%, and around 5% of clicks have converted to purchases. Coda also said the majority of buyers are new to Codashop.

Zac Liew, Coda's Chief Commercial Officer, B2B, said, "Commerce is increasingly happening wherever discovery happens." Looking ahead, Coda plans to keep testing fresh ways of selling and distributing alongside game publishers and platform partners.
