Chile’s SCJ ends Puerto Varas casino bid evaluations without an award

Tenders & awards

Chile’s Superintendence of Gaming Casinos (SCJ) ended the technical evaluations for the Puerto Varas casino tender, saying the two applicants did not meet all legal and technical requirements. Dreams criticised the decision, saying its documents were issued late by the state and that it plans to take part in a new process; the SCJ announced that a new tender would follow.

The decision leaves Puerto Varas without an awarded casino operator and sets up a new tender for interested companies.
