Regulation

Brazil's CBF is examining suspicious betting linked to a yellow card received by Fluminense midfielder Lucho Acosta, reportedly after a monitoring report identified unusual betting volume. The CBF notified the Federal Police, prosecutors and the STJD; it said the case remains preliminary, with no STJD proceeding opened. Fluminense said Acosta denied wrongdoing and that the club would co-operate.

The preliminary inquiry and agency notifications put betting integrity under scrutiny, while no STJD proceeding has opened.
