Catalonia proposes bingo reporting and tax-control changes in 2026 bill

Regulation

Catalonia’s government is processing a draft 2026 fiscal and administrative bill that would change reporting and tax-control requirements for electronic and non-electronic bingo. The proposal would require authorised bingo operators to report game and ticket information to the Catalan Tax Agency and require tax-liable entities to provide telematic controls for both formats.

Bingo operators could face new reporting and tax-control obligations if the proposed provisions become law.
