Brazilian SPA sets betting blocks for Novo Desenrola beneficiaries
Brazil’s Secretariat of Prizes and Betting issued procedures requiring fixed-odds betting operators to prevent Novo Desenrola Brasil beneficiaries from registering or using their platforms. Operators have ten days to implement checks against the federal SIGAP system during account registration and users’ first daily login. If a login check identifies a beneficiary, the operator must notify the user within one day and suspend the account within three days.
Operators must update account checks and suspension processes to comply with the new exclusion requirements.
