Brazil weighs short implementation period for proposed betting restrictions

The proposal was still being revised ahead of its expected announcement on 25 September, and a separate bill targeting illegal gambling was also expected to go to Congress.

Licensed operators may have little time to respond if the proposed restrictions take effect quickly.
