Brazil’s SPA holds first responsible gambling and consumer protection seminar
Brazil’s Secretariat of Prizes and Betting (SPA) held its first seminar on bettor consumer protection and responsible gambling on 16 June. The event brought together authorised fixed-odds betting operators, public officials and sector specialists to discuss consumer protection, responsible gambling and the regulated market. The SPA and the Secretariat of National Digital Rights also signed a cooperation agreement on information exchange and joint initiatives.
The cooperation agreement gives SPA and digital rights officials a basis for joint consumer-protection initiatives and information exchange.
