Brazil finance ministry to release more than 25,000 betting licensing documents
Brazil’s Finance Minister Dario Durigan and the head of the Secretariat of Prizes and Betting, Daniele Cardoso, announced that the ministry will publish more than 25,000 documents from completed fixed-odds betting licensing cases. The documents will be reviewed and personal or confidential information redacted before release; a joint task force with the Comptroller General will oversee the process.
Public access to licensing files will let operators and other stakeholders review regulatory decisions and analyses.
