Brazil’s regulated online betting market generated approximately R$37 billion in gross gaming revenue in 2025, according to market data cited in the report. The report says regulation began in January 2025 and estimates that more than 25 million Brazilians placed online bets during the year.
The reported revenue and participation figures offer operators and suppliers a measure of Brazil’s regulated market scale.

Germany’s regulated gambling market generated €14.4bn in gross gaming revenue in 2024, according to figures cited for the GGL. Land-based casinos accounted for 76% and online gambling for 24%; the cited study estimated illegal online gambling at 22.97% of the total market.

Georgia has activated an international iGaming licensing framework, with Random Systems Georgia confirming the rollout after a soft launch earlier in July. The framework sets a 5% gross gaming revenue tax, a 1% monitoring fee and an annual GEL 100,000 permit; licences run for five years and serve foreign citizens and stateless persons only.
