Georgia launches international iGaming licence framework with 5% GGR tax

Licences & markets

Georgia has activated an international iGaming licensing framework, with Random Systems Georgia confirming the rollout after a soft launch earlier in July. The framework sets a 5% gross gaming revenue tax, a 1% monitoring fee and an annual GEL 100,000 permit; licences run for five years and serve foreign citizens and stateless persons only.

Prospective operators must account for the foreign-customer restriction, five-year licence term and stated tax and fee structure.
